Artwork Guidelines

Embroidery

We can accept embroidery artwork as a JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI OR EPS file.  Your design will then be converted into the correct format to be read by the embroidery machine.  For new customers there is a one off £20 set up fee for your design (max 100mm x 100mm).  Larger designs can be done & will be quoted on request.  This will then be held on our system for future use. A sample will be done & a photograph sent over for you to approve before work on the garments is carried out.

Garment Vinyl Print & Transfers

Vector Illustrator and EPS files are the preferred files types. If you zoom into a vector file you will see a clear image with no jagged edges or distortion. If you zoom into a bitmap, the image and edges will become blurry.  Don't create a bitmap or jpeg file and then save it as a AI, EPS or PDF file - it's still a bitmap and would be unusable unless we re-draw it for a fee.   Logos must be set up as CMYK

We will be unable to use photographs or images which have been saved directly from social media/web images.  Photographs taken from mobile devices must be sent as actual size.

If your logo has any fonts / typefaces, then these MUST be converted to paths (or converted to curves -depending on your software package). This simply means that the font is converted to a graphic object and cannot be changed. If this is not done, then when we receive the file and don't have the equivalent font, we won't be able to match your artwork.

Should you not have the artwork in a format suitable for customisation we can convert (re-draw) your file to a suitable type for a fee of £15.00. You will be notified and ask for confirmation prior to this work taking place.

Print

PDFs must be created from vector files and maintain edit capabilities.  Don't create a bitmap file and then save it as a PDF file - it's still a bitmap and would be unusable and would be liable for a re-draw fee.
